Coca‑Cola HBC Romania signs the Diversity Charter, thus committed to continue promoting and implementing diversity and non-discrimination principles, inclusion and equality of chances inside and outside the company, serving as an example of good practice for other companies or organizations.

Coca‑Cola HBC Romania joins the Diversity Charter with the purpose of showing its adhesion to the European Union common values regarding diversity in all of its forms and encouraging the environment in which it is supported. The adherence at the Diversity Charter strengthens Coca‑Cola HBC Romania's leadership in sustainability, also within the company, by identifying and implementing ethical human resources and diversity management policies.

At Coca‑Cola HBC Romania, inclusion and diversity are building a respectful work environment where people do not discriminate and are not being discriminate in any context, based on the following characteristics: age, gender and sexual orientation, physical disabilities, marital status, race, ethnicity or nationality, religious or political beliefs, position in the company and type of activity.

The Romanian Diversity Charter follows the successful model of other European states and has a set of general principles, assumed voluntarily by the people who sign it with the purpose of promoting diversity, non-discrimination, inclusion and equality of chances at the workplace. Bringing diverse stakeholder groups together, the Charter is a collaborative platform for debate around diversity management. The Charter encourages member countries to implement or extend their commitment to diversity management beyond legal requirements and obligations.

The Romanian Diversity Charter is part of a regional project, coordinated by DOBROVITA Slovenia, with partners from private and public sector from Romania, Slovenia and Croatia, and supported by the European Commission through the DG Justice and Consumers Program. In Romania, the project is implemented by the Forum for International Communications Foundation, the Assistance and Programs for Sustainable Development Association - Agenda 21 and the National Agency of Civil Servants.
