At Coca Cola HBC, we support sustainability at every level of our activity. Our performance in the field has been recognized once again this year, when we have secured a position on the Supplier Engagement Leader Board compiled by the CDP, the leading non-profit environmental disclosure platform.

We are incredibly proud to win yet another award for our sustainability practices, this time, for our entire value chain. Our suppliers are critical partners in the sustainable success of our business. This allows us to make an impact beyond our own operations to improve the environment and society.

Marcel Martin Supply Chain Director

We believe that businesses have a key role in finding solutions to climate challenges. As one of the big players in FMCG, we know that we can make a real difference in driving down emissions across the supply chain by collaborating with sustainable suppliers that stand with us in this process. Thus, we are hardly working to achieve to our 2020 commitment to reduce the carbon footprint of the drink in your hand by 25% compared to our 2010 baseline.

This is not the first time when Coca‑Cola HBC received a recognition from CDP: in 2017, we’ve been awarded with a prestigious CDP ranking, having gained the highest ‘A’ rating on CDP’s Climate and Water lists. We were also named the global sustainability leader in the beverage industry, topping the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the fourth year in a row.

Locally, in 2016 and 2017, Coca‑Cola HBC Romania was recognized as the most responsible company in the country, ranking first in the top of the most transparent and involved companies in Romania, regarding the CSR and the environment „Romania CSR Index”.
