Coca‑Cola Lime: remarkable success in record time. Shortly after the launch, the product can only be found in some packages versions

At the beginning of October, Coca‑Cola Romania launched, in premiere, Coca‑Cola Lime, the lime variant of the most loved and sold soft drink in the world. The product, specially developed for the local market and available in Romania only, entered the market with a bold attitude, targeting especially out of the pattern people, who express themselves in an unconventional manner and assume their nonconformism.

Coca‑Cola Lime went beyond confirming the companies expectations. It has surpassed them. Romanian consumers received with enthusiasm the launch of the new Coca‑Cola variant and have rapidly embraced the „lime” spirit. The remarkable success which Coca‑Cola Lime enjoys has exceeded all estimations, which makes the product currently unavailable in 1.25L and 2L packages.

Coca‑Cola Lime was developed for the Romanian market, at the request of the local team, with the goal to meet Romanian consumers’ preferences and current consumption trends. The estimations of the Coca‑Cola Romania team were confirmed and even exceeded. Until the half of December, Coca‑Cola Lime consumers can enjoy this beverage in the following packages: 250 ml (returnable glass bottle), 330 ml (non-returnable glass bottle and can) and 500 ml (PET).

Coca‑Cola estimates that, in the second half of December, Coca‑Cola Lime will be available at national level, in all packaging versions.

Coca‑Cola Lime has surprised consumers with its refreshing flavor and it has also surprised us by the speed with which it sells. Today is, indeed, rather hard to find Coca‑Cola Lime, in other packages than 250 ml, 330 ml and 500 ml. The product was specially created for consumers in Romania and we are very happy with the authentic reaction it generated. Currently, we are doing everything in our powers to bring Coca‑Cola Lime, in all its packaging versions, back on the stores’ shelves, as soon as possible. We thank all Romanian consumers and we promise that this situation is temporary.
