Prior to this appointment, he coordinated, as Managing Director (2019-2024), the SW Europe regional cluster of Royal FrieslandCampina - one of the world leading dairy companies - which includes the company's subsidiaries in Iberia (Spain and Portugal), Italy and France. In this role, he managed the transformation of the business model and route-to-market. Before holding this position, Cornel Cărămizaru was the Managing Director of the company's Romanian subsidiary, where he achieved remarkable results in terms of local business development.

"I am really looking forward to joining a company and a team that define themselves by being leaders in everything they do - from the products that reach the hearts of consumers, to the way they partner with customers, and to what they build beyond the core activity, that of producing and selling drinks. Coca-Cola HBC is a company that understands the role and responsibility of businesses in the future, a company with unique vision and culture, and the opportunity to contribute to their development brings me back to the country and, after many years, to the beverage industry. I have all the admiration for the team I find here and I am eager to see  what we will be building together from now on", said Cornel Cărămizaru.

After 26 years in the Coca-Cola System and 6 years at the head of operations in Romania, Jovan Radosavljevic accepts a new challenge, continuing his professional path in a different business field. Jovan joined Coca-Cola HBC in 1998, holding roles such as Sales Director in Romania (2013) and General Manager in North Macedonia (2016). In 2018 he returned to Romania, a country to which he is deeply attached, as General Manager for Coca-Cola HBC Romania. Under his coordination, the company consolidated its position as the leader of the local beverage industry and the largest exporter in this sector, developing the new divisions of Coffee & Premium Spirits, as well as strategic partnerships such as the association with HEINEKEN Romania in the online B2B platform, Stockday, and investing over 1 billion RON in increasing production capacity. During his tenure, Coca-Cola HBC Romania successfully adapted to the challenges generated by the pandemic and other external pressures on the local business and achieved, in the years that followed, notable performances, under the long-term growth strategy that Jovan oversaw.

At the same time, under Jovan Radosavljevic's mandate, Romania stood out as an innovative market, always among the first countries in the Coca-Cola HBC Group to adopt pioneering initiatives. Thus, in 2023, Romania was the second country in the Group to implement an innovative technology aimed at producing recycled PET internally, in the company’s Ploiesti plant. This investment allowed the company to transition the entire PET packaging portfolio to 100% rPET (recycled PET ), as fundamental steps towards a circular packaging economy. Therefore, Jovan Radosavljevic made a solid contribution to the implementation of Coca-Cola HBC's sustainability agenda, during this time, the company consolidating its position as a local sustainability leader (Romania CST Index – 2016-2023). Coca-Cola HBC Romania acted as leader of the local beverage industry, advocating and supporting the development and implementation of the Deposit-Return System, the largest circular economy project in the country, that offers the optimal solution for efficient collection and recycling. Jovan has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RetuRO SGR. Also, starting with 2018, Jovan was elected member of the AmCham board, and Chair of Environmental Committee, overseeing sustainability agenda and overall business environment advocacy priorities.

Jovan fostered performance, team spirit and a strong culture of diversity at Coca-Cola HBC Romania, the company being recognized, in the last three years, as "The most desired employer in FMCG" (Catalyst Solutions) and receiving numerous awards for programs and initiatives dedicated to organizational culture.

"The period spent in Coca-Cola HBC Romania sums up some of the best and most interesting years of my career so far. Together with a fantastic team, we have overcome unprecedented challenges, we have learned to rise to the highest level not only through the products we offer to consumers, but also through the responsibility for our actions. We have been proud to put, all more often, Romania on a map of success, in the Coca-Cola System and beyond, building on the enormous potential, capabilities and determination that I found and appreciated within the people here. I am convinced this positive culture, of solutions and creativity, will support excellent results further on.”, said Jovan Radosavljevic.
